DTEK TRAINS TEACHERS AS PART OF ITS “ENERGY EFFICIENT SCHOOLS” PROJECT

Over 24–25 September, 56 teachers from 20 schools of Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhya oblasts took part in a seminar entitled “Fundamentals of heat and energy efficiency,” which was conducted by DTEK as a part of its “Energy efficient schools” project. After the seminar, teachers will provide schoolchildren with practical knowledge on energy efficiency. During practice lessons, these children will conduct an energy-audit of their schools and based on these results they will develop projects aimed at decreasing the school’s energy and heat consumption. They will also have a chance to visit a heat power station in Pridniprovsk, Krivyi Rih and Zaporizhya. More (in Ukrainain) can be found here.
